Hepburn Springs has been drawing people to its natural mineral water since the nineteenth century, and The Mineral Spa on Main Road sits squarely in that tradition. The centrepiece is The Retreat, a bathing area fed by natural mineral water from the same Hepburn Springs source that’s made this corner of Victoria famous for mineral bathing. Alongside the pools there’s a sauna, a steam room, and an outdoor deck for sitting between soaks. Sessions are capped in numbers, so you’re unlikely to be jostling for space.

Beyond the pools, the treatment menu covers facials, massage, body treatments, and the venue’s own Signature Mineral Rituals. The Royal Ritual and Purifying Ritual are worth a look if you want a longer session, and there are winter promotions running across the treatment menu that make it good value to come with someone. Robes and towels are provided, and there are separate changerooms for men and women.
If you’re planning more than a day trip, accommodation is on-site, and the venue runs corporate packages in conjunction with the Mineral Springs Hotel next door.
The spa opens Monday to Thursday from 10am, Friday through to 7pm, and on weekends from 9am, with Saturday the longest day at 8pm. The venue is adults-only from 16 upward. Book ahead for weekend sessions, particularly if you have a specific time in mind.
