The water circuit covers a useful spread of temperatures, from the cooler magnesium pool up through the spas and into the heat rooms. There’s no cold plunge, so the contrast side of things is limited to what the magnesium pool offers after a session in the hotter options. The building dates to an era when bathhouses were civic infrastructure rather than a niche weekend activity.

At $40 drop-in with no booking required, it’s structured more like a neighbourhood bathhouse than a day spa. Which is the point.

The drop-in format is genuinely unusual in this space. Turn up, pay, use the facilities at your own pace. Towel hire is available if you’d rather travel light. The treatment side of the business, massages, facials, Aveda body treatments using locally sourced ingredients, runs separately from the bathhouse entry and would need its own booking.

Value for money and the recently updated sauna get consistent mentions, and several visitors describe using it as a casual recovery or social session.
